Hello families, This week we learned about changing seasons and the patterns we see as the weather begins to get colder. Students sketch noted some of their "Fall Favourites" in their sketchbooks. We also took part in a sit spot at the end of the week to observe the changes happening in our school yard. 

Hello families, This week we enjoyed lots of time outside including practicing for the Terry Fox run,  learning how to stretch our muscles after physical activity, and taking part in a sit spot with our big buddies. Our school garden is filed with amazing things to sketch!

 Hello families, It was a fun and full week! One of the highlights was our walking field trip where we created nature names and completed a nature scavenger hunt with our big buddies.

  Hello families, This week students continued to build their understanding of classroom routines and expectations while also introducing/reviewing the  Montessori Work Period. In math we began exploring patterns! Students used materials to practice  repetition and making different cores such as AB, ABB, ABC, ABBC.

Hello families! We had a great start to the school year this week!  Students enjoyed getting to know each other and slowly getting back into the routine of school. We learned a lot about classroom routines and materials and are easing into school work. Students enjoyed some reading time, playing games in the gym, time outside, a short work period, and responsible work choice time.
