Hello families, This week we focused on preparing for our Remembrance Day Assembly.  We worked with our buddies to make meaningful thank you statements for Veterans, explored the different kids of poppies around the world, and began to gain a deeper understanding of what peace means to us and what that looks like in our classroom, country, and world.  During our assembly room 7 and 8 were incredibly respectful and responsible. Excellent work! Thursday afternoon we walked to MOMMs pet store to deliver the pet donations from our LBS community. Thank you to everyone who donated, it was really nice to see the kids excited about this initiative! The store staff were so pleased and shared that the Veterans Food bank were very appreciative when they picked them up. We are incredibly proud of our students for getting involved in the community and making change.   The Royal Canadian Legion has created a mobile website that allows you to scan your poppy and read stories of Canadian veterans.  We

Hello families, This week we welcomed the snow with open gloves! It was great to see students coming to school dressed for the weather and excited to play outside. Students are working on taking care of their belongings and ensuring they are placed safe in their backpack or on their coat hook when inside.
