Hello families, This week in Social Studies Grade 3 students watched some videos about child rights activist Malala, recording important information using jot notes. They then compiled their notes to create a visual sketchbook page about Malala and her contributions. We then began to look at Ryan Hreljec and what rights he advocates for.  Students demonstrated their understanding of Ryan's Well through a concept map.

Hello families, This week we continued with our two large projects, Geometrocity and National Geographic Kids books. As these two tasks are parallel to ones we have done previously, students were asked to complete these independently. This allows for students to apply their learning, showcase their strengths, and for myself to see areas in which they can further develop their understanding and skills.  National Geographic Kids Books
