Hello families, We had a very busy and fun week! It was filled with excitement and sadness as students move onto the next grade! Here are some highlights: Sports Day

Hello families, To honour National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st, we went on a walking field trip with our big buddy class to connect with the land. As part of our learning, we listened to the Blackfoot legend of Big Rock in Okotoks, shared by Spike Eaglespeaker Jr.  

Hello families, On Monday and Tuesday we took advantage of the hot weather to spend time outside, including guest reader! With the poor air quality later in the week, I am happy we did so!

Hello families, This week students wrapped up their Geese information pamphlets, showcasing all they’ve learned throughout this inquiry. They researched key facts, organized their ideas, and added creative touches to make their pamphlets both informative and engaging. Great work Room 8!  

Hello families, The past few weeks have been filled with project-based learning!  Zoo Projects were wrapped up as students recorded their final measurements on data sheets based on their grade.
