Hello families,
To honour National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st, we went on a walking field trip with our big buddy class to connect with the land. As part of our learning, we listened to the Blackfoot legend of Big Rock in Okotoks, shared by Spike Eaglespeaker Jr.

This week students completed their crazy cone alliterations. They are so awesome!
Students completed their story maps and then used them to create a storyboard!
Daily L.A. Choices
We finished reading The Wild Robot and the movie field trip was a great success! Students showed such grace a courtesy during the whole trip.
In mathematics we continued with fact fluency and learning about fractions.
