Hello families, On Monday we did our Terry Fox run! It was great to see our school come together for such an important cause. We also completed our Terry Fox shape poems.

Hello families, This week we celebrated Dot Day on Monday and completed some dot pattern art!

Hello families, This week all grade 1/2 classes have been very busy completing government assessments with students in literacy and mathematics. Here is what our class did in-between these! We took part it two sit spots, one inside and one during our walking field trip with our big buddies. It was great to see students explore and get excited about nature. There were so many ladybugs out on Friday!

Hello families, This week we began learning about Maria Montessori, our school, and the  Montessori tenants! Our current focus is the practical life and grace & courtesy tenets. I am so impressed with how many students are washing their hands, using their placemat, and exploring the learning materials with care. We also visited the garden to take birthday photos and reviewed the expectations when enjoying this space.
