Hello families, This week we began working on a collaborative art project for an upcoming MAPPS fundraiser. Each class at LBS, along with our sister Montessori schools, is contributing a unique piece that will be auctioned off during Captain John Palliser’s Peace Night on April 24th. Our class is using this project as a way to wrap up our exploration of the prairies in social studies. Students visited the Kainai Plant Index website to research and select 1–2 plants to feature on their individual Jenga tiles. I’m looking forward to seeing how their designs come together!
