Hello families,
Here is what we got up to this week:
We learned about 2D and 3D shapes! Students created 2D creatures using pattern blocks and recorded their data.
We then moved on to a "Create your Own Playground" project where students have been tasked to design a playground blueprint using shapes and measurement.
3D Shape Building - Some of the mathematical vocabulary we learned is vertices, edges and faces. Ask your child what these mean!
