Hello families,
Here is what we got up to this week:
Our caterpillars are now are chrysalises! Students recorded their observations and finished up their non-fiction pamphlets about caterpillars.
In gym we started our dance unit, and it has been a blast! During snack time, students have enjoyed watching many different dance styles and performers. Hip hop and ballroom dancing quickly became the class favourites. We also learned the bunny hop/ locomotion, which brought lots of energy and fun.
In literacy, we moved on to Step 4 of the writing process: Revising. Students revised their stories by focusing on spacing, letter formation, spelling, sequencing, and adding details to make their writing clearer and more engaging for readers.
Students then moved on to Step 5: Final Copy. Their stories are looking great, and students are taking pride in publishing their finished work!
