Monday Easter Egg hunt in the school field!
In Science/Social Studies We began researching the provinces and territories using books and the PebbleGo website. Students picked 3 to zoom in on their maps and represented them using symbols from their research. They focused on landforms, natural resources, provincial plants, and animals.

We also learned about the four spheres of Earth—hydrosphere, atmosphere, geosphere, and biosphere—and discussed how each one plays an important role in our planet. Students then explored the Montessori land and water form trays, matching each form to the correct nomenclature cards.
We watched the launch of Artemis II and learned about its journey flying around the Moon. An exciting real-world connection to our studies of Earth and space!
In literacy we continued exploring poetry by learning about rhyming patterns ands students created their own poems.
We then moved into alliteration donuts! Students created their own unique flavours for their donut shop box. They turned out awesome.

We began our scientific exploration of plants by planting seeds with the help of Ms. Katrin. We are excited to observe and wonder how quickly they will begin to grow!

In gymnastics, students focused on building body awareness and proprioceptive skills. Through balancing, rolling, and controlled movements on the balance beams, students have been developing their coordination and confidence. Next week we use the climber!
