Hello families,
This week was a short and sweet one! Here is what we got up to:
For Valentines day we completed crayon resist candy heart art. We also crafted bags for our Wednesday Valentines exchange.
-
What they already know about wolves
-
What they have learned
-
Questions they still have about wolves
We will begin drafting and refining our letters over the next couple weeks as we deepen our understanding.

In mathematics we began learning about number lines. Students started with skip counting and placing missing numbers on the line. Those who were ready practiced placing numbers on a more open line (less numbers labeled). Sheets were sent home for students who would benefit form extra practice before we move on to more challenging topics.
In gym we wrapped up our hockey unit with more mini games. The kids did great! Next week we will begin soccer and students are invited to bring their own soccer ball with their name on it if they wish.
