Hello families,

This week was busy as we prepared for conferences! Here is what we got up to:

Light and Shadows Science Experiment - learning about the words translucent, opaque and transparent. 


 

Letters L, R, W, J and Y in literacy with UFLI.




Spelling practice using sailboat words.

Free writing using a picture prompt! During creative writing students are encouraged to record their ideas and not worry about conventions, and just let their ideas flow! This help support writing fluency in a low risk way.

Mathematics - Skip Counting

Grade 1:  I can skip count within 100 by 2s, 5s, and 10s

Grade 2: I can skip count within 1000 by 2s, 5s, 10s, 25s and 50s.
