Hello families,
This Tuesday was Earth day! We completed some earth watercolour art and went outside for a sit spot. Students filled out 5 things that they love about Earth.

To finish up our Earth systems unit, we learned about the water cycle and took part in an experiment to show how precipitation occurs when clouds get too full!
We learned about the different parts of the egg and the lifecycle of a goose.
In The Wild Robot, students are exploring the connections between animal adaptations and survival instincts. Roz the robot is learning a variety of new skills from the island’s animals to care for herself and her orphaned gosling, Brightbill.

In Social Studies we started an Arctic Animal Research project to wrap up our learning about Iqaluit, Nunavut. Students began creating posters/books once they finished their research! These will come home next week after they share with their peers and receive feedback.
