Hello families,

This week we applied our learning about volume and pitch to create rain sticks and shakers. Ask your child what affects volume and pitch!

In math we wrapped up geometry by learning about symmetry and transformations as well as did a shapes math mystery.

In coding students were challenged to create an obstacle course for their robot to move  through. We also tried out the "Dot" robots to code sound and light.

In literacy we continued practicing parts of speech and our spelling booklets.

We also started reader's theatre and one of the groups performed this week!

*Next week will be our last spelling practice of the year!*

In gym we continued getting outside! We played cooperative games such as kickball, frisbee golf, four square, soccer, and capture the flag in gym. Our garden is also blooming and the perfect place to enjoy our snacks!

Have  a great weekend,
