Hello families,

This week we delved into learning about energy. Students hypothesized and tested materials to see how they move!

We began learning about story writing and took part in a free write. Students also worked on their word search and card for Parents Day. I hope you find a way to celebrate all the love and care you show each day!

In math we learned how to add up money and different ways to manage it. This connects to the wellness curriculum where we started to learn about spending, saving and sharing.

We began learning about 2D and 3D shapes and went on a shape hunt around the inside and outside of the school.

In gym we have been spending time outside to practice our cooperative game and frisbee skills. We even played a whole grade 1/2 capture the flag game!

Our wildflower plants were sent home with students on Friday!
