Hello families,
What an exciting first week of school! Today we continued to practice our new routines, becoming familiar with our new books and materials in the classroom. In writing, students responded to a writing prompt about their room, and in math we collected information about our class birthdays and represented our data in a bar graph together.
We also created some hand cacti art! It was so much fun painting our hands and discussing some of the features and adaptations of a cactus.
